PLO8 Dummy Straight, what should I have done on river?

Can I really check/fold here? I figured 1/2 pot would be ok, but I should have easily mucked this after a raise, even a minraise. Can't really think that flop hits anyone, but still a donkey semi-bluff. I still think I have best hand on the turn, I can't think he has a big wrap draw or just called the flop with AJxx.

I'd have never put any money in the pot. you are drawing to 4 outs for the nuts and if you hit them there are redraws.

First off I must agree with Gergery, you never should've played the hand. Nevertheless, once you get called on the turn, your opponent reasonably has only 1 of 3 hands: set, two pair, flush draw (or combo of any 2). Once the river hits and he raises full pot, not calling, he can really only have one hand, Broadway. Your same king high straight might make a move to take it down, but usually not knowing you can come back over the top. It's a very tough laydown, but without any info on your opponent I believe it must be made.

He minraised, not potraised.

Mistake 1--you bet the flop with that many people left to act behind you with nothing but a draw.

Mistake 2--I wouldn't have bet that river--he now has the same hand as you at worst (if he had a JK he probably has a king high straight now) then paying off the river. At those limits that raise on the river is almost always the nuts.

Oh btw--that flop hit someone--with that many hands somebody usually hits some crazy hand no matter how stupid it would have to be to have hit it.
