Anybody use a tablet ?

I still havn't gotten use to my new 2001fp. But I can
say it's a lot different from my 17" crt! With the added
expanse of screen I thought that a tablet might make
it easier to manage multiple tables.

So does anybody do this? I've never used a tablet
but it seems like it would be easier to use a pen
to run your tables instead of a mouse.

I'm very tempted to get a tablet with wifi for playing on the move.

I am buying one of these this month. It's good to prevent carpal tunnel by moving back and forth between various pointing devices. A tablet is nice and easy to use as well.

But there's no such thing as a tablet with enough resolution for 4 tabling, is there?

Unless you have your mouse adjusted all screwy, it's unlikely the tablet is going to make it any easier to manage multiple tables. I bought one a few months ago to help with repetitive stress. My wrist and forearm were starting to hurt from hours of using the mouse while playing. The tablet did the job in that regard, though I suspect it helped primarily because I was using different muscles. If I spent weeks using the tablet five hours a day I'd probably have repetitive stress in a different set of muscles/tendons.

The tablet is a lot different than a mouse and can take some getting used to. I'm still not completely comfortable with it. I tend to use the mouse unless my arm starts to hurt.

I bought the Wacom Graphire 3. If you want to use it for real graphic work you might want to look at one of the better ones in the Wacom line, but for playing poker the Graphire 3 is fine. Be aware the overall tablet size is considerably larger than the working area. The active area on mine is 4"x5", but it's a bit more than 8"x8" overall.
