Health Insurance for Pre-Existing Condition

Hey all,

Right now I am paying a ton through COBRA and was wondering if anyone else had a better private plan that covers a pre-existing condition. I had some surgery in October and hope the problem is done with, but I would like to cover myself just in case.

Anyone know if Blue Cross/Blue Shield has a plan that covers pre-existing?

Thanks

I'm not sure, but I think it depends on where you live. I have a friend who can't move to Colorado because they do not cover pre-existing conditions here.

If you have had continuous insurance coverage for 12 (maybe 18) months including COBRA, then I believe pre-existing conditions do not apply. As long as you have not had a break in coverage during that time.
