Flush draw - how to play this?

Tourney is 3-way. 1st price $600, 2nd $200, 3rd 0.

Hero SB ($13.000)
Villian BB ($11.700)
Button ($15.300)

Level: 500/1000, 200 ante

Villian is rather tight, not bluffing very often

Hero is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero posts SB $500, Villian posts BB $1000, Button Folds, Hero makes it $3000 to go. Villian re-raises to $5000. Hero calls.

Flop ($10.600)
10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero checks. Villain pushes for $6.500. Hero calls.

Anybody play this differently? Hindsight I should maybe 've pushed this flop myself (since I'm apparently not getting away from it)? My thinking at the time was to see the hand through cheaply if possible, does this make sense? I put villain on a PP (overpair) with his line of action.

Re: Flush draw - how to play this?

i would have open-pushed the flop. calling? feeling lucky? i probably would - possibly 12 outs if you count the aces.

[just noticed the payout. i guess my call would be somewhat dependant upon where i stood on the table. facing weaker opponents, i'd like to think that i could battle back. tough one)
