Exact Procedure for booking a Poker Room Rate and Clearing it.

So I have the misfortune of being 20 and going to vegas this summer. I thankfully though am never carded because of the fact that I am in a wheelchair and act like I know what I am doing in a casino. I was wondering though what is the exact process of getting a poker room rate and clearing the number of hours you need. I assume that you need to have a players card to do this. If so did they check your ID when you signed up for one and second is there any hope that you don't need one, could you just give your name to the poker managaer? Any help would be appreciated.

You do realize that the correct strategy here is opponent specific?

Ok well lets talk Wynn, Bellagio, Mirage and MGM. If there is no step in the process where they flat out ask for my ID then I will be fine. I just wanted to know how you cleared them and what was the proccess.

Every casino I've ever been in requires a player's card to get a room rate, and they all require photo ID to get a card.

Number one, Finding out that you are in a wheelchair makes me quite impressed with your screen name.

Number two, fake ID's are -EV. You wouldn't save enough on the room to have the pot odds to risk jail time.

I am NOT recommending breaking any laws.

That said, I never had to show any ID to get into Excalibur's comp system. They don't issue a player's card, but you just fill out a form with your home address and room number and such in the poker room. You tell the poker room staff whenever you start and stop playing, and then when it's time to check out, they'll call over to the registration desk and let them know to give you the poker rate.

The Excalibur rate must be cheaper than the MGM, and the two casinos are diagonally across from each other.

Last year I was able to get a poker rate at Bellagio by just asking the nice lady(I forget her name) in the back office of the poker room. She asked me what limit I was playing I said 15-30 and 30-60 and she booked the room. I don't remember her asking for any ID(I was 24 at the time and still get carded constantly) and I've never had a bellagio players card

I just found her card, If you PM me I'll give you her number. She told me to just call her next time I wanted to book a room.

You're 20, stay at the San Remo and try to avoid getting card when you go into a poker room.

I have been to vegas a half dozen times an am never carded. One of my favorite stories is being in vegas killing time waiting for people by playing BJ at the Bellagio. As I am sitting there chatting with the deal my friend(who is also under 21) comes over to sit down also. The dealer asks if she is going to need to see his ID. I look at her and tell her its ok he is with me and she looks over at me shrugs her shoulders and starts dealing again. Trust me I go to casinos a lot, getting carded isn't a problem for casual visists. I just don't know if I want to press my luck.
