Slowing down with a boat??

I wont go into too much detail (mostly because I don't remember the small things)

50 NL Party Poker 10 handed

I have pocket ducks (22)

I flop a set with a board of

2 J 9

I check, he bets, I call.
The Turn: comes another 9 (suit unimportant)
I check again, he bets, I raise, he reraises I just call.

I'm not sure what he raised to, and what I reraised to. At this point I was Thinking he may have J9

The river came a 10 and he bet I just called.

Should I have raised the rest of his stack all-in on the river? He had 16 left after his bet on the river. Was it right to slow down when I hit my boat? I'm not too sure If I played this well at all. It doesn't look good to me.

Any and all opinions welcomed.
Thanks in advance! (sorry so short on details)

We can't really give any decent advice if you don't post the stack sizes and bet sizes. Also the amount of limpers, his position and whether there was a flush draw on the flop would be nice.

However, you can't go far wrong by betting out or check raising the flop. If you check raise him here, considering the general calibre of PP players, he's likely to commit with any two pair, overpair or top pair.
