2 HU NLHE hands against same opponent

OK so the first hand was the 2nd hand of our playing HU. I know absolutely nothing about him. The 2nd hand is our fifth or sixth hand with a couple hands without much going on in them in between. Twice he raised preflop and I folded, I won 3 pots with steals later in the hand that he played very passively, and we checked the fourth down where my king high took it. Anyway, how did I play both hands? On the second I was pretty sure I was ahead on the turn but didn't want to open myself up to a turn 3-bet bluff which I felt this guy was certainly capable of doing.
