and guess what. 90% ask for cash.

When are the sites going to "get it"

[/ QUOTE ]

They probably "get it" in the sense that they know players would rather have cash; perhaps it's cheaper to give away stuff than cash.

I think of all the guesses on here, yours will be shown to be 100% accurate. They're due for a reload, aren't they?

I take the value from one of the 1500 FPP SNG satellites to the $215 - that works out as 12500 FPP for $215, which is just over 58 FPP per dollar. Of course, it doesn't include rake - I have no idea if that's taken into consideration.

The value of 1 FPP to PS depends on how you earn it too. You can get "free" FPP by playing whilst working off a deposit bonus, for example.

Gah, I really want to contribute to this thread, but I can't until the announcement, when everyone'll know anyway. Sucky!

[RANT] Where do you rakeback fans all get the idea you deserve something from?? Think about it, money deposited = money on deposit + period rake + period winner's withdrawals. If you aren't depositing from an outside source, ie losing, you arent contributing to the bottom bottom line. Your wins are in the end subsituted from site rake. All you are doing is processing their money faster at a lower overall rake. This is why Stars don't do rakeback, Party cut it down, Ladbrokes never did it and UB dropped it. You just need to learn to play poker better! why do you deserve a fixed monthly income?? what do you contribute to society?? Rakeback attracts sharks, sharks kill fish who leave, site dies. All correct site marketting should be aimed at attractin fish. That ISNT rakeback. Attracting fish IS the loyalty bonus to the good players. [/RANT]

wrong, every hand played that is raked contributes to the bottom line, winning players play more hands, and usually at higher limits, increasing rake, and drawing players to a site b/c there are more games to choose from

wrong, all 3 of those sites currently have rakeback programs through affiliates

wrong, if your not a winning player rake is not going to cover your losses

[/ QUOTE ]you just said that people who play for rakeback need to learn to play better, but now they are sharks. a site thrives by keeping their players loyal to their site through incentives. Sites die b/c they suck and there are plenty of other options. If a site doesnt have anything to offer why would you continue to play there when there are 12 others sites that do.

winning players will win, losing players will lose, regardless of rakeback
