Vegas on Super Bowl Weekend

I am planning a trip to Vegas on the weekend of the 5th. Has anyone been there for the Super Bowl in the past? If so, please let me know what you thought. I have heard that it may even be too busy.

For what it's worth, I'm planning on staying at the Bellagio.

I went for the SB four or five times. I usually play the lower limit games 3/5, 4/8, 6/12. The great part is that the games are rocking and probably the second best weekend of the year for fish at the tables. Lots of good coversation at the table around the game if it interests you. Lots of parties during the game..

Downside, its LV first or second busiest weekend of the year. lists for seats can be long. Forget playing at the Bellagio if you show up after 11am. Expect at least an hour wait at the Mirage for these games, again after 10 or 11 am.

Personally I make my annual pilgrimage now over St Patricks day weekend, which usuall coincides with both spring break and the first weekend of the NCAA Basketball tournament. The games are MUCH better.

Vegas rocks on super bowl weekend. Should be a ton of fish. If you don't have a room, book it now.
