I don't have this mouse I use my gyration mouse, that you can hold in your hand, but to anyone looking for a more standard mouse, this one is widely regarded as the nuts. At $40, I'm thinking about picking one up...

WOw, that's a pretty damn good deal, too bad I'm in Canada...

I have the Logitech MX518, which is a kickass mouse as well, more gamer-oriented. Although the MX1000 is better for pretty much everything else. ME wants!

I play 3-4 tables of low-limit 6-max, some 25NL, and 4-tab small S&Gs from time to time. I do this on my laptop which isn't always the most comfortable set-up. Is it worth the 1.5 buy-ins to get this mouse in terms of comfort and endurance enhancements? I have maybe 40 buy-ins in my roll right now and want to know if this is a good enough pickup for the price.

def, yes. It's a great mouse and that's a nice price, even if u only have a small roll.
