i guess you were going for overcalls on the turn? if you thought a raise would have knocked the bigblind and UTG out, then nice work. you basically have the nuts, the only hand that could beat you is quad sevens. no need to knock anyone out.

Yes, I was going for overcalls hoping someone would hit a flush.

Anyone with a flush draw won't fold for 2 bets. Also, if MP1 or someone else really had a 7 you might get in a raising war trapping any draws inbetween.

"Yes, I was going for overcalls hoping someone would hit a flush. "

Raise the turn, flush draws will call, bad players will call gut shots and assorted pairs, and if somebody has a 7 that they are 'slowplaying' then you get to make a lot of money.

Yep, I raise for just this reason.

Flush draws (and straight draws, etc. etc.) will still call for two cold on the turn, but they won't call when they miss on the river. Go ahead and raise this turn.

i'm sure its been said. raise the turn. big draws won't call on the river when they miss and MP1 may 3-bet you.

raise the turn. let them call two bets with their flush draws, you know they will. Raise, let the retards pad your BR.
