First hand woes

400 NL. First hand.

3 limpers with 400 each, and I am in the BB with K6o.

The flop is K65 with the K6 of hearts. Normally I just lead right out here, but this time I decide to checkraise. The middle guy bets $16, next guy calls, and I checkraise to $55. The bettor now makes it $140. My move?

As always, thoughts on the rest of the hand are appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

I hate getting my stack into an unraised pot with no reads and a three bettor not afraid of multiple opponents showing interest.

When you say no reads, do you mean not even any stats? There is no reason you should ever sit without at least stats (on Party), that's -EV for me.

Easy all-in, take note at what hes 3 betting on the flop after.

Easy all in with no reads on villain?

But what hand is re-raising a check raiser that hero beats?

I'm not saying it's a bad play, but I wouldn't say it is "easy" with no reads on villain against that action.

really whats the worst that could happen..villian may have 55 and made trips.. if this happens we still have a 4 outs..no i would guess that maybe the villian has AK orAA (not likely w/o pref bet)... but for me insta call and happy to double up

You could lose your stack.

If he has 66 you only have 2 outs. I prefer not to bet my stack on 2-4 outs.

Guessing for your stack usually doesn't work, which is why it is a good idea not to get all in when you first sit down without any reads.

It's not like you have worked your way into the hand and are pushing the last half, you are essentially pushing 85% of your stack with no reads and serious action (villain is re-raising a checkraise) for two pair against an unknown.

Again, I didn't say it was horrible, I said it was definitely not an "easy" push if you think it through.

We are not debating a call, we are debating a push.

Do you play 400NL regularly?

I am not trying to be offensive. This is the mid stakes forum and there are plenty of donks at 100NL you could do it against, but much less (considering the action), at 400NL.
