Pit vs. Cin

Is there a thread on this yet? Biggest game of the season so far, and they're showing SD vs. Phi instead.

SD Philly's a pretty important game too, you know.

Cinci has been getting fat on scrubs and it showed today. They should be better in the rematch.

Aside from the 300 penalties in the first half, SD-Phi has clearly been the more fun game to watch. Consider yourself lucky.

this is funny, because I got Pitt-Cin, and I'm on the other side of the state. I wanted the damn Eagles game, and now they're finally showing it.

that fumble is HOT. let's just hope it holds up, that review looks close. but the ruling on the field is Phila. ball, so it'll be tough to overturn.

Yeah, there was no way whatsoever you could've overturned that fumble.

Don't worry, you didn't miss much other than the shutting up of the people who suck Palmer's popsicle on this forum.

Yep, his first bad game in 10 starts. He is not good at football. Nevermind that he put up very good games against both Chicago and Jacksonville, very good pass defenses. You know Jacksonville, the team that held Peyton to a 44 QB rating.

5-17 : The combined record (coming into today) of the 5 teams he beat this year.

We can have a talk once he plays a good game against a good team...

He's played two good games against two good teams...Jacksonville and Chicago. He doesn't play against the opponents offense, so those are irrelevant. He's played well against a good Jacksonville D and a good Chicago D.

The fact that his opponents have had no offense should not be held against Palmer. But you obviously think otherwise. Please explain.

Josh

Jesus Christ, you're not listening. Jacksonville and Chicago are good pass defenses that he played very well against. What does not matter are:

a) chicago's shitty offense
b) cincy's shitty run defense.

Got the Steeler game here*. Fairly boring actually as most games are when Pittsburgh is way ahead and simply grind it out. Pittsburgh has to have the most boring blowout team ever.

Pretty happy with Big Ben's play. He was fairly mobile and as usual didn't make too many mistakes - that interception was pretty bad but fortunately not costly. Ward looked fairly mobile as well though he could have relaxed a bit at times.

* I'm in Pittsburgh so that's not surprising, is it?
