Scary flop with TT vs a lag

5 handed. Button is a super lag that loves to pump draws and made hands. rest of the table is pretty LP

Preflop UTG limps, Button limps I raise T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the sb, bb calls

Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet, BB calls, utg folds, Button raises, i 3 bet?

It's close, i like all three options maybee call the best. It depends about how lagish the lag is but i think there are situations where you might be best 3beting.

I'm liking the 3-bet here. If BB has a draw to the single heart, then there's no way to protect your hand. What you might be able to do is get BB to fold a weak Jack, or other overcards that could hurt us on the Turn. Getting heads up with the button would be great.

You're pretty much break-even equity wise on the flop. I think 3-betting to possibly push the BB out to get it heads up with the lag would improve our equity significantly. If the BB still calls it doesn't hurt you.
