there was a rat at the end with 19k chips, before me... so I thought I should wait and got a little extra money for 5th.... but KJo is a pretty damn good hand short handed.

I am the karl malone of poker, i always get 2-6 at final tables but ive been to the playoffs plenty of times.

Umm, why push here? At the final table, it's about surviving. Why not just see a flop? It's not like you have to win a coin flip to have a chance in order to make the final table, you're already there. And there is a shorter stack than you, so the longer you put off that chance of busting out the more money you make. KJ is good shorthanded when you hit something, but a dog against any ace that would call all in.

I'd be surprised if the big stacks let him see a flop. Really surprised. You think they're gonna let him limp in when he wants?

Well, you've got what, four orbits until you're blinded out? True there are some stacks shorter than you, but I dont think this is a bad push considering your stack size to the blinds and other players at the table.

Unless they are completely weak and will let you push them around, I dont see this as a bad play.

I like this push. You have an M of about 3 (read HOH2) plus the table is short handed so it's in fact more like an M between 1 and 2. You have first in vigorish and just happened to be up against AK. I think this is +EV and would make this play myself. However, I've been playing a lot of STT SnG's and have become a bit of a push monkey .
The only reason for not is the one stack shorter than you, but I don't like playing this way. Congrats on the FT.

Hell, I'm usually thrilled to have 2 face cards to push with at this point. If your M is over ten, then you could probably wait for a better spot...as it stands you're blinded out in the next several orbits. The only time I pass is if it's clear that by folding I can move up one spot in the money and that move is significant $$$ wise.

This is an obvious push. This is your last round with some fold equity, and KJ in CO 6-handed is very nice.

With 5x BB left, this is an auto push.
