NL600: Trips with 54s against a preflop raiser

I didn't play this hand, but we had a big discussion on another message board, on how it should be played.

NL600, 5-handed, $15 in the pot from a smallstack who is all-in.
Villain has limped several times, where hero raised him, and took down the pot on the flop, with a pot sized bet.
Hero and villain both has ~630.

Hero is in the BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Villain raises in the SB to 24, hero calls.

Flop (~$60): 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Villain bets $36, Hero raises to $120, villain calls.

Turn (~300): 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villain bets 150, Hero?

What is your action now? What is villains hand range?

Edit: Oops - corrected.

We need a new deck.

I probably call the turn.

Ehehe lollerskates. I analysed it in a fourflush context hahahaha. Wanted to push to get out the naked ace. Haha.

Call the turn, evaluate on the river but fold to a big bet probably.

It's an interesting idea.

the fact that he raised from the sb widens his range of hands quite a bit. Is he a player who tries to steal from the sb?

I am pretty sure you got him beat right now. But you got a real dilemma here. Raising will fold his handrange and calling lets him catch up, or if he doesn't - a nasty card might hit, preventing the action you might have gotten on this street. Any spade (exept the 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) You cant be afraid of a stronger 4 here. 22 and 77 is just monsters in the closet. i would probably call, pray for a blank and a bet that i might not have gotten if i raise him here.

For value, or to take it down right now?

What is villain holding - overpair?

Pushing has a couple of advantages. It protects against a one-spade pair. Against the right opponent you can fold out a flush, against many you won't though, but you do have outs so it's not hopeless.

I would like it better with some sort of read on villain.
