how have people gotten caught for being their own affiliate?
 

on party... i don't really see how someone could get caught for this since you can essentially sign up without using the same info.

Party will put your account on 'hold' after a few months if you aren't bringing in new players.

being ur own affiliate sucks...u only get 20% when an affiliate can get u 26%

What he said. Im a multi tabler (8) and generate usually between 2500-4000 rake per month.

How then can affiliates give 26%?

I recently signed up a few friends as an affiliate and Party gives me 20%-25% of their rake, which got me to wondering how affiliates offer that.

Affiliates negotiate deals with their affiliate managers based on how much MGR they are bringing in per month. Some get very high rates so they can offer better deals than others.
