Went Sledding Today
 

I went sledding today, it was a lot of fun. Just like being in elementary school, wake up see snow, become alert IMMEADIATELY and run to check if there is no school. YES, NO SCHOOL. Not even tired anymore, but still have to sleep in anyway. Then a lot of sledding with friends which was painful but a lot of fun. Anyone else go sledding? I highly recommend it.

Sledding sounds cool. I can't remember the last time I did it. I was a little confused by these:

Why wouldn't you skip class to go sledding? That seems like it would make it even better.

The neighborhood association where I live had 26 tons of snow delivered and dumped onto the hill at one of the parks here. It was 75 degrees out, so sledding was OK for about 45 minutes, and then really sweet for about 10 minutes, and then canoeing after that.

My kid had fun and did have juicy juice (white grape apple, I believe) but I called an audible and went with PB&J over grilled cheese.

We're going to go offsite for a day of meetings at a local ski place, and I guess it's going to include innertubing. Not as good as pure sledding as you described, but I'm looking forward to it.
