Setting up Pokertracker and Pokerace HUD
 

Hello -- I've FINALLY acquired PokerTracker and PokerAce HUD, and am prepared to set up all of the overlays and auto imports for my game. I'm playing on Empire with all of the default install directories. How do I get PT to auto-read my histories, and how do I get PA HUD to apply them with the overlay?

after making a brutal attempt at setting it all up, i'm still busted. this seems really complex. i'm sure the experienced minds at 2+2 can lend a hand (or point to a thread that covers the whole shebang)

Start PokerTracker. Go to File -> Auto-Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries - Setup. On the window that appears, click "Configure..." Add the Empire hand history directory (probably: C:\Program Files\Empire\HandHistory). Hit OK. Hit OK. PokerTracker should now auto import your hand histories.

that is helpful, but i had glanced at it before making this post. what i'm more interested in is the standard displays for each player. i believe that i have to do this by going to the layout options within PokerAce, but aside from VP$IP, i'm not sure what statistics from PT are most commonly used. i think that this is where i'm getting a bit lost, and where i'd like a bit more guidance.

upon further looking into the layout sections, i can see that the four critical statistics are already selected, and i added "win $ at showdown." it took a few hands, but the stats began to pop up.

what other stats do you folks recommend displaying?
