Cashouts negatively affecting rakeback?!?

My affiliate, who is a good friend of mine and would not screw me, has just been informed from empire that when people under him cashout it counts as a negative transaction on his account! This means that he no longer receives rake because of all of the cashouts under him. Anyone else experience this? My thought is that Empire is doing this instead of abolishing rake rebate.

Anytime you begin a thought in this manner you should just know you have been screwed.

Absolutely zero chance I'm being screwed, because I havn't even played on empire this month, but others have. I have seen the emails that empire has sent him. They've gone as far as to give him the cashout records and names of one of the people under him. They told him to look into the matter because this directly affects his account.

There is a huge difference between cashout and chargeback.

Your "friend" is lying to you. Read the "email" he "received" from Empire and note the unprofessionalism and typo(s).

Sure.

Cashout is when you withdraw your money from a poker room.

Chargeback is when you contact your credit card issuer and dispute the deposit, so the poker room never get paid for your deposit. If you then during that time have withdrawn the poker room makes a loss on your account.

A charge back on a CC (credit card) means that one of his players made a credit card deposit and then either refused to pay the credit card charges or the card was stolen. Either way, Empire gave this person money that they didnt get back.

The affiliate loses 20% of that money just like they would get 20% of any profit EMpire makes on that player. This has nothing to do with cashouts.

I have read the emails, and they are from empire. The typos could easily be from the rep not speaking english as his first language, they are most likely based out of gibraltar or somewhere like that.
