Certain aps freezing while playing.
 

I play using my laptop with a Dell 2001fp hooked up as a second monitor. I 3 or 4 table using the Dell and use the laptop screen for PT, Excel, browsin etc. I never seem to have a problem with the poker client (Empire) and it always seems to run fine, but I can't get around in Poker Tracker as I constantly seem to have the hourglass up. It still works and updates but like I said, I can't really get around in it. Excel freezes quite often as well. The internet browser rarely has a problem.

Is there anything that I can do to fix this problem. So far I changed PT to update every 2 minutes as opposed to one. I compact the database regularly as well. I also upgraded my 256K memory with an additional 512K.

Any help or comments would be appreciated.
