Bellagio UB Promotion ... worth it?

http://www.ultimatebet.com/promotion...=bellagioemail

Is it worth it to try and win this promotion if I play NL100?

This tournament would be flippin' awesome to play in ...

After finals I would be able to play 10+ hrs a day, more to win it, because I'd love to go.

first of all, 150,000 ultimate points is a minimum of 300,000 raked hands and at least $150,000 of table rake, of which a minimum of $15,000 is attributed to you. or you can pay $25,000 worth of tourney fees to clear. so you're not technically getting anything for "free".

if you 4-table (not even sure if you can play more than 3) 6-max and every hand is raked at least 50c, then you're earning 200 points per hour, 2000 per day. so you're talking at least 75 intense days of play at only that site, and you may not even be one of the first ten people to reach the prize, which means you would still have to qualify in the top 50 freeroll.

you might as well buy in straight, or find another site with a better way to get in the same tournament.

150,000 UB points is minimum 300,000 raked hands. Or $25000 in tournament rake. Or 150,000 table hours (max 500 per month though).

I guess you could play in all their UBPoints mtt's though.

if you win anything from the points-only tournaments and ring games, they don't count towards clearing the bellagio promo.

This promo's kind of tough since there's no leaderboard (at least not that I've found), so you don't really know where you stand. If I came in 11th, I'd have to shoot myself.

And to have a shot at this, I imagine you'd have to play 6-max or less, which means you're contributing at least $25,000 MGR, probably a lot more.
