A little bit of aggression

Villain is playing standard big stack poker, raising a lot of hands and calling when he is getting correct odds. His raising range is pretty wide and he may fold the weakest of holdings but I don't think he is raising here and not willing to go to the felt. I should be ahead of his raising range and not be in too bad of shape versus hands he is willing to call with such as k-xs and q-9+.

Any suggestions?

If he's raising with 22+,A2+,K2+,Q8o+,Q3s+,J9o+,J8s+,T8s+ and calling with all then it's a +0.5% push. Of course a stop-and-go is good if you think he will fold ace high or pairs to a paint overcard.

I gave considerable thought about a stop n go, but I prefer doing those with small pairs than with broadway cards.

With you shortstack and villain being aggressive with a wide range, I'd probably get all my chips in. He has no real choice but to call you. Might get unlucky and have him flip over a hand that dominates yours, but I think more often you have the lead.
