Aussie Millions Main Event Structure
 
Going to be my first live tournament next month in Melbourne.
What do you guys think of the structure?

 Start bank 20,000. The duration of each level is 90 minutes.
 8 handed from Day 2, 6 handed for last 6 tables (9 handed on day 1?)


Commences Sunday 15th January at 12.30pm
Cost to enter $10500(10000+500)

1st Level 50 100
2nd Level 100 200
3rd Level 100 200 25
4th Level 150 300 50

End of Day 1

Looks incredibly deep. Thats double the starting chips at the WSOP.

but wsop started at 25/50, so same diff

yeah, but the starting blinds are 4times as much. so really 1/2 the starting stack. slow blind progression though. that is nice. I mean, you are missing 75/150 and 200/400, but you get a lot of other levels. I like it.

Starting blinds are only twice as much. So it's the same opening structure, just twice in proportion.

Seems quite deep, although only two levels without antes seems pretty low to me.

I think it's pretty clear that it will play deeper than the WSOP main event since there won't be, you know, 5600 people in this event.

Seems like a nice deep stack tournament...havn't seen the decreasing of seats per table b4 though...appart from the final table, of course.

Not the main event. Some of the smaller events, yes.
