River J. 4 bets on the river. I lost to JJ.

Not the worst beat ever. In addition to runnning jacks, running 9s would've given you a split pot.

Right. No way trying to say it's the worst beat. Just trying to point out that hitting a 1-outer with two cards to come should not be the "worst" beat a poker player's ever heard of (DaveT's thread). I'm just trying to point out that my off the cuff beat this evening was worse than which shows just how common some seemingly uncommon beats are.
