Hourly Rate Question

I didn't realize they had broken out these forums, so I posted this initially in the limit section. I was advised people here might be more inclined to respond to this.

Do no-limit players track their wins by hourly rate or rate per # of hands like limit players like to do? It would seem this is not as relevant a stat for no-limit since one hand can have a huge impact on results for a fairly long period of play. Just wondering. Especially for those that play higher blinds than 2-4.

Re: Hourly Rate Question

i track it by sock and bank. online checks go to the bank. live goes to the sock. when the sock is thick, it goes to the bank. then it all goes to the gov'mint.

i used to make about 1.5 socks/month. now i make about 3 checks/month, or roughly 1 check/3,000 hands or 0.08 checks/hour. doubled my win rate by moving online.

I'm missing what must be an incredibly amusing inside joke here.
