The SSH for NL?

Small Stakes Hold'em is widely regarded as the best book on the market for Limit Hold'em, with an intended readership of intermediate or advanced beginner players.

But what if you want to play No Limit? What is the best book for No Limit after I've read Getting Started in Hold'em?

Re: The SSH for NL?

Tournament Poker for Advanced Players by David Sklansky, Harrington on Holdem 1&2, Phil Gordon's Little Green Book, Bob Ciaffone and Stewart Reuben's Pot Limit and No Limit Hold'em, and Blair Rodman& Lee Nelson's Kill Phil are the top five. With Bob and Stewart's book the only cash game book, but the others can be used for cash games.

I'd still recommend SSHE. The things it teaches you about terrible players, hidden outs and all that are essential.

Ah! Ciaffone & Stewart's Pot Limit and No Limit! I should have thought of that.

Little Green Book has gotten good reviews here, and Kill Phil seems to be getting a good reception.

Isn't Harrington on Hold'em sort of "post-graduate" poker, for after I've read Hold'em Poker for Advanced Players?

HEFAP is strictly about limit play. Harrington contains all you need to know about NL Hold'em tournament play. Early level play has alot in common with cash games, and you can extrapolate from the first volume.
