A10 a raising hand?

Just wanting other peoples opinion, Would most of you Limp, Raise, or fold an A10 early in a tournament, in middle position? I had a hand last tournament had A10 suited in early position, i raised 2xbb Got 2 callers, flopp came down 10,7,4 rainbow I bet the pot and someone went all in. I know i should have folded, Thinking being He wouldn't have called a raise with K10, J10 etc.... but like an idiot i called and he flipped over pocket jacks. I admit my mistake however is A10 a strong enough hand to open with a raise?

2xBB doesn't count as a raise, especially early when blinds are so small.

What to do with the hand is very table dependent. If it's super tight you can consider raising to pick up the blinds. If it's passive consider limping and hope to flop a big hand. If it's tight aggressive, fold.
