Should I ever turn on the heat?

I'm trying to find more spots to defend my blind, and with the villian being super aggro postflop I figured I could pick him off with any type of hand.

Villian is 15/10/3 after 300 hands. I was debating between check-raising the river or just calling down and letting him bluff through.

I personally don't think I'm calling preflop, but maybe I'm just a big punanny. Yes he is very aggressive, but with his numbers I think I'm respecting a MP1 raise.

Check/raise the flop and lead the turn. Why would you want to give him a chance to improve?

I wouldn't consider this a blind defense. This probably isn't a steal from MP1.

If you're ahead, he likely has 6 clean outs (edit: at least). Letting him bluff through is way too dangerous, to let him control the action as he's drawing.

And there's a good enough chance that you ARE ahead. I c/r the flop, lead the turn.

Also, I make this pre-flop call all day, but I'm not sure if it's right. I wouldn't mind hearing more thoughts on this.

Not when the pot is as small as it is here.
