Hero is a 2+2er that isn't me. Villian is colson10. Both colson and Hero know the other. Comments?

Re: 2+2 vs. 2+2 rebluff hand

meh....

You'd have to be VERY sure that he's bluffing to pull this one off. His pot odds are phenominal, and he'll keep going with most any piece of the board. I mean if you expect him to put a play on you, there are better ways to go about it.

I'd recommend to just muck this preflop instead of screwing around vs a potentially tricky 2+2er. There are easier fish to fry. If you insist on playing, I'd limp or make a bit bigger raise, say 2500 ish. You don't want to lay him fun odds to make a "what the hell" kind of call. That's bad when your hand is J8s.

On the flop I'd make a stronger initial stab (say 3500-4k) and let him have it if he still comes over the top of me. You don't want to give him more reasons to mess with you.

Basically you made a big complicated pot with a crap hand vs another good player. Every time you chose to proceed with this pot it was marginal at best. Pick better fights.

P.S. Change "you" to "hero" since this wasnt your hand.

Hm. Hero informed me that in fact colson did not know it was a 2+2er. Does that change anything?

I missed this post. I had 33, and from the preflop and flop bets I was quite certain my opponent was weak. GH whoever it was. I can't remember if I was aware he was a 2p2er or not at the time of this hand, but I found out at some point.

colson10
