2/4 NL 6 handed party

hero has 440, villain covers in bb

stats 26/16/2.35 over 300 hands

UTG+1 limps, hero limps with JKo, sb completes, bb checks

flop K27 two clubs.
checked to hero, hero bets 15, villain raises to 36, hero calls.

turn J. villain checks, hero bets 67, villain calls.

river T. villain checks, hero moves in.

bet more on the turn... river push looks bad unless u think he has KT

bet what you think he can call...prob not all in unless he has k7. IF Bb is aggr. did you consider a small bet to induce a push from a flush draw? or a call from a weak king? k3ish. I use the overbet push all the time but i think im overdoing it in these kinda spots...you look like a genius if he has kt/k7 but you may be giving up alot of value. Just let it tick for a little while like your thinking about how much to bluff or value bet.

Hand looks fine until the river. I don't like pushing. I think a smaller value bet would be good. Something about a hundred.

I started writing a lot but then I deleted it because all it comes down to is.... what did you put him on? Your play makes no sense to me.

Re: hmmm, i just got top two pair, and i want to keep them in the hand

what i put villain on was a very possible flopped two pair on the flop with a BB type hand K2/K7/27 that slowed down after seeing a possible two pair hand from me on the turn/river. i figured he wanted to see a showdown, and that an overbet of the pot would look suspicious enough to get a call, putting me on a missed draw. i guess it may not be warranted...
