Stupid NL question...
 
My friend is trying to say if you put your cards behind your chips in a NL game, you're considered All-in.

Is he right? or is the kid who's never played No Limit live in his life just dumb.

I agree. I think this is technically the correct answer. However, it is one of those things that I've NEVER seen anyone called to the carpet on. It's pretty common to see someone take a peek at their cards from behind their stack in Vegas.

Of course they do. If there was anything in my post that implied where you positoion your cards indicates you are all in I apologize. What I meant to say was the correct answer was his freind being dumb.

Thats what I got from it, and I always knew I was right. It's just that my friend tends to think he's a know it all about something and hates being proven wrong.

But seeing how he gets robbed at 2-4 tables, there's no way i'll ever get him to sit at an NL table to prove him wrong.
