KJs with 3-betting power

UTG raiser seems to be a TAG.
I was running very hot and the blinds were tight so I decided to 3-bet this.

I know my hand sucks on both flop and turn but given he's a TAG is our folding equity because of the preflop 3-bet worth enough to bet these streets?

eek. At least they were sooted.

give up on the turn and start passing the ball. In basketball, they call play like this from a guy who's just made 5-6 in a row, a heat check. He's about to check raise you, I think. only AQ would call preflop, call the flop, and fold the turn.

AQ, AJ, AT, KJ, KQ, KTs (not [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) are all overcard hands which may fold the turn too.

I think this is a bet i'd make. I would fold or check behind a non J non K river though.

Firing like this on the turn is what sorts the men out from the boys.

I love betting UI overs on the turn. If you get called and check behind on the river and lose, you look like an idiot. That's a good thing. If he folds, he likely folded the best hand. That's awesome.

I wouldn't be here cause I would have folded pf but if I'm here I'm shooting at this pot again. Dude probably missed flop and called getting 8:1 on the flop due to a combination of overs and maybe a bd flush or something. I think he is quite likely to fold the turn

Bad PF 3-bet, good turn bet. Hope he mucked his A-K.

If the blinds were tight there is not need to 3-bet. Against loose blinds I 3-bet. I think this hand is fine though. The only problem is we don't have much showdown value. An important thing to note is whether or not the villain with take hands like AJ, AQ, AK to showdown in this situation.

The way you played it, you have to bet the turn. At least you get a lot of information from this hand.
