Stud Junkies Anonymous tourneys
 

The idea of a stud forum tourney every other week has been started and the first couple of events are scheduled in another post. I PM'd uwda and he in turn asked me to post this for the forum to decide:

Should the notice of these events be announced only within the stud forum or should it include notices in the internet forum as well?

I see a couple of different arguments such as:
1. Some may want these to be events between those that have an interst in stud and the stud forum; regulars and visitors
or
2. Having non-stud players is +EV for the stud forum players and invite all that will donate

Ok, I voted for number two, mostly because I like doing everything possible to spread the popularity of stud.

But if a significant number of people's reason for wanting these tourneys is to be able to sharpen skills against reasonably experienced players (or just wanting bragging rights over stud forum contributors), then maybe we should keep it just to the stud forum. So, I guess I'd change my vote if the final tally is really close, because I totally get why some people would want to keep it just to this forum.

I think either way we do it the majority of the people playing will be from the stud forum.

I don't think anyone wants to play against the 2+2er's to get the most EV out of their money. I sort of like playing against the people from the forum, playing against people with a higher than average knowledge of the game is fun for me, more of a challenge than playing against someone who has played stud twice in their life.

Either way works for me though
