Cornell University hold\'em

Not exactly sure if this is the best place to post this, but I think since I'm being specific to hold'em its better here than the zoo. If this is the wrong forum, feel free to delete mod

I was hoping to get any Cornell University 2+2'ers together: talk about strategy or play a little together, compare notes and see if we can help each other out, maybe go out to Turning Stone together at some pt. Feel free to PM me or reply to this thread...

This won't be any help to you, but man am I jealous. I graduated from Cornell in 1991. No one played hold'em much then. Turning Stone did not exist and neither did 2+2 (the website) nor internet poker. AC did not have poker yet either.

We used to play a lot of 7-stud hi/lo declare as well as a lot of crazy games like 7/27. I played a lot of pool then too. The pool room at WSH was the place to find all the gamblers on campus.

Any way, good luck finding what you are looking for. There are a lot of CU students on this forum from what I have seen.

I'm Cornell class of 97. I'm very thankful I did not play poker in college, Applied Physics was hard enough without it.

Awe crap, i'm only two hours away (Skidmore). It's tough too, because there's a few good players here, but they're not interested in strategy or really anything the 2+2 scene has to offer.

I have to find some games around here first. I cant seem to find anyone that plays poker (although that does say a good thing about my friend-picking ability...the non-gambling type )
