Dogs are very +EV, especially labs or golden retrievers. Both in life and i'd imagine in cards, too. They'll at least relieve some stress (unless you absolutely hate dogs, I guess) you get from downswings or bad beats or whatever.

and as far as dogs, nearly ALL dogs are fantastic. Labs are awesome, but i like bulldogs and dachshund (yea thats my best guess at how to spell it) and pugs, and basically dogs are great.
