i dont see it as an easy push. there are so many hands you dont want to be against that they could have. its probably either push or fold. hopfully you wont get called. yet if you want to win the tournament this would be a good hand to double up on and send you on your way in much better position

I don't necessarily think that either of these two options are correct. Personally, I think a re-raise is in order. A re-raise should get either both the original raiser and the caller out, or at least get one of them out of the pot. It will also help you narrow your choices of your opponents holdings. This player could easily have been raising with a mediocore hand like KQ suited or even J10 suited. If this player did raise with a premium hand like AK he will most likely call your all in anyways, and this way you can avoid busting out if any paint spikes the flop. JJ is not a big enough hand to bust out with when the blinds are only 50/100.

Re-raise to what? Your pretty much committed if you re-raise so just push.

And that would be bad. You'd be raising to around T1300 - about 70% of your stack. If you're going to raise that much you need to just push instead. You're pot committed and pushing makes it very clear that you like your hand and puts maximum pressure on the others to fold.

"pot-committed" is just an excuse to throw your chips away or to suck out. If you raise up to 1000 you still have around 900 chips. True, that raise is over 50% of the original stack but it is possible to come back from 900 when the blinds are 100.
