Would you lay this down?
 

So I was playing in a 1/2 NL cash game, max 250 buyin last night. I was UTG and was dealt AA. I raise to 10, pretty standard raise at this table. Folds around to the CO, who calls, and button who calls and the blinds fold. Flop comes 579 rainbow. I lead out for 30, CO folds, button calls. Turn is a 3, putting two to a flush on the board. I lead out for 75, button reraises all in for an additional 90, I have 81 dollars left, having started the hand with 180 or so. Would you lay down your AA? Note that I do not have a read on this opponent due to the fact that he was a relatively new player to the table and I hadn't noticed anything particular about his play yet.

Well, the board is fairly coordiated, the turn was a blank and now he's showing aggression? Yeah, this is an easy fold.

That 3 does nothing for villain. I can see villian holding an overpair here.

That was my reasoning, either because he could have been on a semi bluff straight or flush draw, an over pair to the raggedy board, or two pair which gives me many outs (an unlikely holding though given the pf raise, but he was on the button and had one other caller pf). So I called, and he fillped over 55, needless to say I got hammered.

limp rr pf, cr the flop, then fold to the rr. much easier. maybe the guy will even raise his && pf then you get to blow him off his hand.

What overpair cold calls pre-flop, cold calls the flop then pushes the turn? It doesn't. Villain had a set on the flop.

You are correct. Villain exhibits typical set miner 101 move here, check my monster then move it on the turn before someone out draws me.

Without a read, I call this. I would be wrong, but I hate laying down AA on a dry-non Broadway board. I see too many comedians trying to run over your "AK" here to be able to lay it down.

This is good food for thought here, thanks for the replies. As frustrating as it is to lose your stack with AA, it's always a learning experience.
