Weird -- Can\'t Connect to Pokerstars
 

I hadn't played at Pokerstars for a while. Recently decided to do so, double clicked on the icon, loaded the updates. I go right to the site now, but my computer doesn't connect.

My computer has no problem connecting to the internet or to other poker sites. And, on my laptop, I went through the same process and have no trouble connecting to pokerstars.

So, why won't my desktop connect to this one site? I have tried uninstalling and installing the pokerstars software and I get the same results.

The most likely reason is you have a firewall that is blocking access to the site.

Disable your firewall and see if pokerstars works. If it does, change the settings of the firewall so that it no longer blocks stars.

I'm sorry I'm not being more specific, but it really depends on the type of firewall you are running.
