O8 site other than party (where u can get rakeback)

I posted this at the bottom of another thread, but would like to start a thread for O8 players that used to receive rakeback but now cannot because of the party switch.

Is this hopeless? As consumers, can we at the least do our best and settle on the site with the best chance to have regular games other than party? Empire is presently dead - but may have potential? What else is out there other than party?

I think it's worth discussing and deciding on the next best place, rather than just go to party. Thoughts?

Absolute...it has a few game going. I've found it pretty nice the last few days. More short-handed games than full ring. also, offers lots of stackable bonuses which go on top of rakeback. Bonus is not subtracted from MGR on absolute.

definiately absolute.

reload bonuses to the point where its almost impossible to keep up with them.

also a bonus clearing raked hand to them is .25 rake NOT $1. so if you play smaller limits such as 1/2, every hand is bonus clearing raked basically as opposed to 50% at other sites.

Do tournament entry fees, especially for Sit'nGo's count towards clearing bonuses and towards MGR ?

they count towards bonuses. The MGR question would be one to ask your rakeback affiliate.

from the absolute poker faq[ QUOTE ]

Answer: At Absolute Poker, we are frequently offering bonuses and other rewards for our loyal and much appreciated customers. When a bonus is awarded, it is placed in your pending account and is not immediately available for play at our tables.

In order to transfer the money from your "Pending Account" to your "Available Balance", simply play in our real money ring games or tournaments. As you play, you will earn points towards the release of the money in the "Pending Account". For each raked hand (minimum rake of $0.25) you play you will receive 1 point, and you will receive 1 point for each $1 of tournament buy-in fee. Please note that the tournament fee is now collected as a 9% of the total of the prize pool and that Pending points will be based on the fee collected rounded up to the closest whole number. For example a $10 tourney will generate $0.90 in fees, and will earn 1 point.

Once you have reached 100 points, $10 will be transferred from your pending bonus account to your available cash balance. As soon as funds have been transferred from your "Pending Account" to your Available balance, they are unrestricted and immediately available for withdrawal or play.

If you have any other questions, please contact Cashier@AbsolutePoker.com<br />
