Default play: Overpair facing resistance

Looking for a generic answer to a generic problem:

Villain and Hero have ~ 100bb stacks.

Preflop: You have a medium/decent pair, say 77-JJ and openlimp. It's raised 2-5xbb behind you by a player you know nothing about. You call the raise and it's headsup.

The flop comes all undercards to your pair. No obvious draws. You bet 2/3 of the pot. Villain raises the amount you bet.

What do you do?

Re: Default play: Overpair facing resistance

Depends if I have 77 or JJ :P

I'm very likely to fold 77-99. With TT or JJ, I may reraise, I may fold, its very read dependent.

Thats the best answer I can give to such a generic question :P
