wow you see a ton of flops with 10 tables open... whenever i play 10 tables i just nutpeddle the fullrings lol usually only lik 10 vpip or so..... i don't have time to think about playing other hands... you must have a quick head [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

How do you manage to play 24/13 on 10 tables??? This is quite amazing. Your stats look fine, you should probably move up.

Thanks to all for the responses. I agree that moving up seems to be the right move, but I have struggled at the Party 50 NL tables and above. My win rate was somewhere in the 3BB/100 range, compared to 11BB/100 at the 25 NL. It just seems that the players are much more aggressive, borderline maniacs, who make me fend for my stack on every hand. So I end up playing very nitty and folding a lot of winning hands.

Any suggestions for playing at the next level? Should I be more aggressive against LAG opponents, or less?

Play less tables. Even dropping down to 7-8 tables will help better with your reads.

Don't you normally buyin for like $10-$15? That's probably why. Seriously, I don't think you are going to improve by playing so many tables. If your objective is to make money you would be much better off moving up and playing 2-3 tables and paying more attention to your opponents.

Having won 40 x the buy in , its time to move up. Give yourself 2-4 weeks to adjust to the different subtleties of the game there. Losing 4-8 buyins during that time should be viewed as tuition. Any more than that and maybe step down for a while until you build your stack back up to $1000.
Play weak, tight to start, until you have seen the plays made there, that you seldom or never see at $25nl.
ie: you make pot size bet on flop $5 , and get reraised for $10 more. this is hard to call, but they often have 4 to a flush, not trips.
-some guy with A4 hits his 4, and hangs in to the hand to the river where he hits his A. I found this often. They call this a tough player. they are rare at $25nl, but they abound at $100, and there are many at $50.
-back door flush draws, followed by an all in bet can be very expensive here.
IMO, you must immediately defend your hand "vigorously" here, of you'll be overtaken. This applies particularly to straights.

I have 2 questions after reading OP and re's (I'm normally an "other poker" player, but I do play NLHE here and there; since mostly other poker, don't use PT):

- is the 10bb for a $25 table 10 X 0.25 or 0.5?
(I'm assuming 0.5, since PT is usually thinking limit,
right?)
- therefore, if 0.5, he's making $5/100 hands...

- how many hands do you feel you all are getting her hour?

- OK, I lied, 3rd question: what does "CB" stand for?
