Flush Draw vs. Big Bet

50/100 full table, 18quills has 10k i have it covered, he limps I raise to $300 on button with 45s (i never make this play). He calls HU, flop is As Js Td, he checks I bet $750, he raises $2250 more and has 6.5k or so left. What do you fella's think? Call and go all in on turn if he checks any card, go all in, or fold.

I don't like any line that expects him to check the turn. It sucks to just call and have him take any play out of the hand by bombing the turn.

Really? I'd imagine with your image it would be of much more value to someone like, eh, me.

As davis just said, I wouldn't expect him to check, really, so a call wont freeze him up. That said, his checkraise on this board is wicked weird; he really wants you to believe he has AJ, eh?

Esp. because most of the time you will have hit this board, and I think he knows that, reraising seems like burning money (what a bad board for him to run a bluff)

Blah.

I think the fact that bluffing in this spot would be like setting money on fire means that..... he actually might have a hand.

i don't think it's necessarily a bad board to bluff on. he could think i have Ax and can't call

I fold against quills there 100%.

Re: Flush Draw vs. Big Bet

In general would a flop check be preferable here?

Allows Bruiser to take a free card or bluff later, representing slowplayed big hand.

Or is it just best to cont bet with Bruiser's tight image?
