Wall Paper

Ok OOTers, here's a home improvement question:

I have used a steamer to remove some wallpaper I had up in a room. Of course, there is some glue left on the walls from the paper. I have tried DIF from Home Depot and a pole sander, with miserable results. I trew some vinegar and water onthe walls and found that this works best.

My question is if anyone knows the correct proportions vineger:water to mix for optimal results.

Welcome to my weekend in hell.

Isn't that the same stuff as DIF?

If it is, it doesn't work.

DIF is Goo Gone's bitch...

Also, don't apply to the wall directly. Apply to a rag and then rub the wall.

I actually tried this too. It works ok, but not nearly as good as the vinegar. It actually comes premixed in a concentrated solution.

It appears the best ratio is gonna be 1:1.
