Concept Check: Betting w/ equity.

Let's say you have A2s OOP and you flop a flush draw, with no other draws available (I'm trying to approach this from a purely theoretical point of view). Let's also assume you have no reads.

You have 3 opponents. You know exactly 1 or 2 will fold if you bet. Is it still correct to bet since you will be putting in 33-50% of the money?

no.

but if its checked around to the button, who is an aggressive player, and he bets, assuming 1 or two will fold if you call, is it now correct to check raise to knock out the field in case an A comes, since button could be betting with nothing?

If you know that 1 or 2 will fold if you bet, then no. But I don't see how you could KNOW that, nor where another bet will come from, so I bet in this situation.

As for Walk's question, I'm just calling a LP bet, here...not knowing how likely I am to knock out a stronger ace (especailly one that has already paired his kicker, for instance) so I just call on the strength of my NFD.

if you have no reads how can you know 1 or 2 will fold?

Now maybe I spew chips here, but in a 4-way pot with 3 unknowns and a nut flush draw I'm betting out every time

That's what I do too, but how often at small limits (not micro, small) do all 3 opponents call? Not often, if ever, which is why I'm asking.
