I've played there very briefly, so this is limited experience, but the .1/.25 game I've played there is very, very tight post-flop (kind of loose pre-flop, but tight post-flop). But, the experience is very, very limited. But, if I want to learn how to play, this might be a good place to learn. In my very, very short PLO career (a few days) - I've made some decent money at Party (see my first PLO posted hand thread and the results), and lost a little bit at UB. I haven't tried Stars or Paradise.

At peak hours, UB low limit PLO games are pretty loose. The .10/.25 are loose, but they also have .01/.02 games. At peak hours, most of the games are loose up to .50/1. Of course, the higher the limits, the better the players, but I think you could easily learn the game here (I did).

the key phrase is "peak hours". If you play during peak hours then the games are fairly easy up to .10/.25 tables with max buyin of $25. Off peak hours you will get eaten alive by the pro's.

The game is easy if you are experience at the game. I would say fool aroung with te 0.10/0.25 game with a $10 buy in. Set aside $100 to play with to start to that u have 10 buyin and go from there.

I would say this is probably good advice for someone just now trying to learn the game. When there are only one or two tables going, then yes, the better players will be at these tables, even if they are lower limit. I still do well throughout the day simply because there are still people that don't know what they are doing. There are just many more of them at peak hours.

I won't say anyone'll get 'eaten alive by the pros', but yes, there are pros playing 0.25/0.50 PLO. I spent april/may making approx 1k/wk, solely on .25/.5 plo. You pick up on the fact that there are many regulars who regularly win decent money - certainly sufficient to be called pros.

edit: this may not be so much the case for UB where less games go, but on the sites with a selection of games, I believe there's plenty of pros cruising the low limit big bet games.
