Re: WSOP hypothetical question (not about AA)

Frankly, the thrill and excitement of playing in the WSOP would be no match for the thrill and excitement of winning $50k pots regularly for 14 days with nothing to lose; but that's just me.

How in the world did you come with only a 25K profit, playing a table full of fish in a 100/200 game?

Variance?

I would play very loose aggressive in the WSOP. If I could accumulate chips there, I would stay. If not, I would get to go to the cash game.

On teh day of the WSOP2006 Main Event, which you have a seat into you are invited into a HUGE cash games, 100/200 NL full of nothing but the juciest fish you've ever seen, if you can't afford the bankroll someone will stake you and let you keep the profits, the game will be going for hte full 2 weeks the WSOP is on.

Do you go to the main event?

Do crystal meth for the first and only time in my life and hit the cash game for the ENTIRE two weeks. Anybody who picks the main event (without further stipulation) is either WAY too excited about playing with pros or mathematically disinclined. The choice isn't even close.

Edit: I might actually opt out of the drugs. I don't know how my body and poker would react. But you get the idea.

this is easy.
enter the ME, call allin preflop on the first hand with pocket aces, lose the hand, then go to the cash game.
