flop bet looked like he wanted someone to go over top... then turn confirmed it.... was i too passive? Should i have believe this guy at some point?

Preflop i was OOP and wanted to see a flop before making this a big pot..

I'd push the turn after he raises. You have a monster.

but unless he has exactly 99... or maybe KJ/K9... i'm behind when he calls me...

with the above line, i get more money out of AK, KQ, and bluffs.. and i don't lose all my chips to QT, or KK

Re: Fold this set?

your behind 2 hands, you must raise

Re: Fold this set?

Yes i'm only behind 2 hands, but those are the ones that call me when i push.

He's not going to call a push there w/ AK.. he's going ot need to have flopped the straight, set of 9's, set of K's, or KJ.

I'm only ahead 50% when he calls my push.

But if i call him down, i get paid more by hands that i beat, and i pay less for hands that beat me.

what's wrong with this thinking?

KJ,K9,AK,KQ,99,AA,J9 etc. will all pay you off
