I think I'm becoming weak tight in these river situations. Are these both easy bets and raises or am I seeing MOTB? I think that's due to the fact that I'm affraid so much of the river raise.

Re: Am I missing lots of river bets?

Both are easy river raises.

What are you afraid of in Hand 1? The flush? KQ? Both unlikely. And I would expect to see a lower pair in Hand 2 far, far more often than a two pair or straight.

Edit: Right, you act first in Hand 1. Missed that. Yes, bet. This hand will often get checked through because a player becomes timid, is afraid of the three spades, gives up on a bluff, etc.

Hand one you should really lead because this river will get checked through a ton. I c/r given your check.

Hand two is a pretty easy raise.

BB checks, Hero ?

Is there a case for a turn bet given his description of villain? We're unlikely to be c/r'ed by a single pair. There's tons of straight draws we are still ahead of.
