Does anyone eat pickled eggs?

It sounds disgusting, but I've never tried them. I came across a recipe for them and wondered if it would be worth a try.

I'm trying to picture sour eggs and...I just dunno.

Is there any way that these are not disgusting?

I've never had one but they sound delicious to me. I guess I'm weird like that

I've had them. It was some years ago and not so yummy that I looked for more opportunities to eat them but certainly edible. It's not so much a sour taste as vinegary.

I eat em.

They sell them in fish'n'chips shops in the UK. They're awesome, but a delicacy to be savoured occasionally rather than frequently.

That's the thing -- does anyone put vinegar on their eggs normally? If not, then...why pickled eggs?

I guess I can see in the old days before refrigeration, just to have some around, so they don't spoil and all. It's hard to picture anyone eating them now though.

I'm only interested because it sounds so weird, that now I want to try one.

What's the difference between these and deviled eggs? Or Eggs Benedict? WTF are these things?

I'm pretty sure one of the above is horribly disgusting though. Just not sure which.

I feel like I would definitely hate pickled eggs, however this post made me realize that I wanted some hard boiled eggs, so I am making them now.

Put some salt and pepper on them and post a trip report here. Delicious snack.
